Welcome to the Writing Centre!
We offer appointments for help with writing, reading and studio practice to all students, staff and faculty at Emily Carr University of Art + Design.
Our peer tutors help at all stages of the work process (brainstorming to final versions) and with personal or academic projects.
The Writing Centre space is open whenever Writing Centre staff are on campus, which is usually 9:30 – 5:00 but can vary with staff availability.

Join us for a poetry reading and talk with Cecily Nicholson, Hari Alluri, and Junie Désil. These poets have collaborated on several projects together, and will talk with us about their own writing in relation collective writing and community organizing.
